Class Description
Tiny Tigers
Tiny Tigers is geared for our youngest students. At this age and level, the student is developing motor skills through basic stances, punches, and kicks. Karate motivated games help students to develop these very basic techniques. Students are introduced to number and basic terms in Japanese.
Cub Karate
The Cubs are beginning to gain control of their basic skills and move on to working with kata, the basic fundamentals of karatedo. Along with kata, students are increasing their cognitive development, by learning Japanese terminology for karate techniques.
Youth Karate are physically honing their motor skills and sharpening their mind. Kata level has increased and they will begin practicing kumite. Students will be introduced and be responsible for Japanese terminology as well as learning about our system.
Please keep in mind that Mr. Walker will move students to different classes to help their development.
